I went to buy petrol earlier but they were all sold out. Apparently people
have been panic buying because someone or another said there’d be heavy
snow for three weeks. It says something about me that my first thought was
“how much film do I have?”
I just tried to print the swan of the apocalypse but gave up after an hour and a half without even managing to figure out a basic contrast and exposure to start from. I need to find myself someone who knows this shit to look at my prints with their actual eyes and point me in the right direction. I’ve so many negatives I’ve no idea how to print :(

I didn’t expose a single frame of medium format in 2012. That won’t happen in 2013—I cashed in all the change and £2 coins I’ve been throwing in pots and spent it on a TLR.
I really like Madison Carroll’s pictures. They are interesting and playful and she has a good eye.
